Short Personal Description:
Hello, Rocky Mountain High School! I'm Robert Laurie. This is my twelfth year at Rocky Mountain High School, though I gained some valuable experience as a student-teacher here in 2005 and have also taught at Highland High School in Ault, CO, and as a graduate teacher at Colorado State University. I love literature: reading, writing, teaching, and learning. This extends to the world of film, and since 2023, I have been teaching Multimedia Arts courses (Digital Media, Filmmaking, and TV Production) here at Rocky. My favorite authors are William Shakespeare and Cormac McCarthy, and my favorite filmmakers are Ben Stiller and Quentin Tarantino. Colorado is my home, and when I'm able, I like running, soccer, skiing/snowboarding, and going to concerts. I am an avid fan of sports including soccer, football, and baseball. But my favorite thing to do is to travel with my family to places like Turquoise Lake and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Audere est facere. To dare is to do.
